Pretty cool track! Really digging the intro and break with the muted parts. That and the rawness of the riffs reminds a bit of Buckethead.

VortexVisionz responds:

Thanks! Buckethead is definitely my biggest inspiration in all things I do

Very nice little tune. Love the counterpoint between the instruments and how it just keeps going. Also nice modulation towards the middle, and I really liked the pad you used. My criticism would be that the volume is to low. Master it louder!

SI-7 responds:

Thanks! I've been noticing that since I got my new headphones, I've been mixing things too quietly.

Pretty cool track! You kept it interesting all the way through and I could mention plenty of elements I liked such as the change to the swing feel and the main riff which sounds like classic Guns n Roses but the intro with the panned guitars and bass phrases was my favorite part.

djt820 responds:

Now that you mention GNR, I can hear me subliminally being influenced by them. Been listening to them a little more than usual lately. Good ear. Glad you dug it my man! That intro was fun to make! Thanks brother.

Congrats for ticking every bingo and making something cohesive! This must have been quite a challenge but I liked the result. The length different styles make it sound like a closing credits medley. I would try and master it louder and layer and/or compress the bass to make it sound bigger.

SplatterDash responds:

Yeah this definitely was a challenge to make lol. Glad you liked what came out of it!

The reason why it's kinda quiet is because I received some mastering advice during NGUAC to turn down the mix by about 6 dB - I still have yet to get the advanced ropes on mastering, especially with the limited mastering library of Ableton Lite, but I think I may know how to compress the bass next time to make the song sound bigger. Thank you for the advice :D

This whole track sounds a bit muddy to me so I think it most instruments would benefit from a brighter EQ. Besides that, I was completely immersed in it. What a cool and unexpected piece of music. You had me hypnotized.

RedMongoose responds:

Thank you very much. I do need to work on my mixing, I didn't really do at all for this song, sorry about that, time restraints etc.

I agree that this could use a little less compression as this isn't the super modern/refined type of metal. The vocals also sound a bit drowned in the mix. I feel at least in the choir the should be a bit brighter/louder/in your face. Besides that, it sounds great. Pretty cool track and guitar playing, both rhythm and lead. May I ask what that guitar tone is?

TSRBand responds:

Thanks for the review! I use Bias FX from Positive Grid for guitar tones :)

Pretty cool hearing metal tracks in here! Especially with the low range on the guitar. Congrats, as I can imagine the all work writing and recording all the parts must have been. Really like the orchestral intro/outro and arrangements during the song. Would love to hear your work with better samples/production quality for those!

Nekro-Kitty responds:

Thank you; I am really glad you liked it.
One of these days I will gain access to better orchestral samples; also I will learn FL studio a bit better. I am sort of unfamiliar with the program, but I am getting there.

As someone said before, this is face-melting. Pretty cool hearing how you keep a simple idea interesting for a while with the building/dropping of instruments, creative use of samples and the wide panning of the drums/percussion. Great work!

Quarl responds:

Thank you Mr galletti :)

I'm looking for game devs to collaborate with! If you like my music don't hesitate to contact me.
